Become a Whip’d Athlete

 

Whip Leotards reinvests 100% of profit (after basic costs) straight back into gymsports athletes. That means every leotard sold fuels real athletes, real dreams, and real results. If you’re a high‑performing gymnast representing New Zealand — or on your way toward international selection — this is for you.

We don't have sponsorship application cut off dates, we simply give out support whenever we can, based on what our brand can afford at the time.

Right now, we’re backing high‑achieving athletes.

As Whip Leotards grows, so does our reach: expanding support to developing, emerging, and recreational athletes across Aotearoa. This is just the beginning.

 

Who Can Apply

Does this sounds like you?......

  • You compete in a recognised gymsport (Artistic, Trampoline/DMT, Tumbling) and

  • You’re eligible to represent New Zealand and/or

  • You’re performing at a high level — international appearances, national squads, podium finishes, and

  • You’re committed to the sport, consistent, and have a clear progression pathway.

We may also support additional athletes/coaches at our discretion when it aligns with athlete needs and brand impact.

 

What Support Can Include

This isn’t just a title — it’s real backing:

  • Financial support for travel, accommodation, training camps, and competition entry fees

  • Financial support for uniforms or equipment needed for NZ or regional representation

  • Product sponsorship and/or Whip gear

 

How to Apply

 Send an email to whipleotards@gmail.com with:

  • A short intro about who you are and why you should, and why you want to be a Whip’d athlete

  • Your club and region you train and compete for

  • Recent competitions (international and/or domestic), results and rankings

  • Your training schedule and performance goals

  • Estimated travel/training costs/what tour/s your competing on

  • Please advise if you have any existing sponsorships or funding arrangements

  • A recent photo of yourself

Photographs may be used for advertising purposes on our social media and website.  Please let us know if you do not wish your photo to be used.

 

Accountability

All Whip’d athletes must submit a short report/email on how funds were used within 12 months, or once funds are fully spent. Simple, quick, transparent.

 

Brand Representation

No ambassador type duties required!  — but we always appreciate tags and shares that help grow the brand that’s backing you.
